  2.                            I HAD TWELVE BOTTLES

  6. I had twelve bottles in my cellar and was told by my wife to empty the contents
  7. of  each  and every bottle down the sink ....  or else!.  So I said I would and
  8. proceeded with with the unpleasant task.
  9.  
  10. I withdrew the cork from the first bottle and poured the contents down the sink
  11. with  the  exception  of one glass ....  which I drank.  I pulled the cork from
  12. the  second  bottle  and  did likewise with the exception of one glass, which I
  13. drank.   I  then  withdrew the cork from the third bottle and poured the whisky
  14. down the sink, which I drank.  I extracted the cork from the fourth bottle down
  15. the  sink  and  poured  the bottle down the glass, which I drank.  I pulled the
  16. bottle  from  the  cork  of the next and drank one sink out of it and threw the
  17. rest  down  the  glass.  I pulled the sink out of the next glass and poured the
  18. cork  down  the bottle then I corked the sink with the glass, bottled the drink
  19. and drank the pour.

  21. When  I  had everything emptied, I steaded the house with one hand, counted the
  22. glass, corks, bottles and sinks with the other, which were 29, and as the house
  23. came  by,  I  counted  them  again  until  finally, I had all the houses in one
  24. bottle, which I drank.

  26. I'm  not  under  the  affluance of incohol but some thinkle peep I am.  I'm not
  27. half  so  thunk as you might drink.  I fool so feelish that I do'nt know who is
  28. me and the drunker I stand here, the longer I get.
